Beside six lanes, there will be two reserved lanes on the both side of the highway, slightly lower than the main road for three wheeler and slow transport on both sides of the highway.

Under the six lane highway project, there will be an intercept in Hatikumarul, Three flyovers in Elenga, Kaddar moor and Gobindaganj in Gaibandha will be built.

There will be total number of 26 small and large bridges, one railway overpowers, total 161 number of culverts, underpass will be 39 and foot over bridges will be 11.

Already the feasibility study of this project has been completed. Hope by 2021, the whole project will be completed.

Though the project brings good news to the people of the northern region, there are thousands of people on both sides of the Lalmonirhat- Rangpur- Bogra highway in the wake of eviction of news reports of six lanes.

Some peoples have been living in Rangpur -Dhaka highway for a long time. They are really worried, because if there are six lanes, then there will be eviction.

Thanks.
