Bangladesh is going to be the Asian Tiger

Today I am going to share with you another comment about Bangladesh made by the US Ambassador Dan Mozena on Monday, 22nd January, 2013. He said Bangladesh will become the Asian Tiger if the recent development trend of the country could be maintained!

I have already said in my previous post that I will publish all kind of positive NEWS about BANGLADESH in my blog. So readers, if you find any similar news or related story to my topic please let me know. The US Ambassador Dan Mozena also said “I’ve traveled 64 districts of Bangladesh. This country has a great prospect. Its economy is gradually getting stronger. If the trend continues, Bangladesh will become the Asian Tiger,”

He said this during a views-exchange meeting with the government officials at the Divisional Commissioner’s office in Sylhet city, Bangladesh. The country is changing and the changes have already started to be shown. Recently the US Ambassador Dan W Mozena, in another program has criticized the former US secretary of state Henry Kissinger’s ‘insulting terming’ of Bangladesh as a basket case. Mozena was speaking at a workshop on Food Security organized by the USAID at a hotel in Dhaka city on 16th January, 2013.

Henry kissingers insulting term about Bangladesh was “Bangladesh is a Bottomless Basket”. But Mr. Mozena redefined that at present Bangladesh is “a country with food revolution”. The country is not a Bottomless Basket; it is a Basket of Food. Click on this link to read the detailed story.

Anyway,
In Sylhet, Dan W Mozena mentioned that the USA has been providing support to Bangladesh for the development of its education and health sectors and he also added that “The support will continue”. Later, Mozena visited the Shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal in the Sylhet city.
