Image Collection of Bogra City Skylines and Others | Part 1

Bogra is a city and one of the oldest cities in the northern part of Bangladesh. It is a center of commerce and trade within the Bogra District and located under the Rajshahi Division. Bogra is sometimes described as the nerve center of Northern side (North Bengal) of the country, it is also a bridge between Rajshahi and Rangpur Division.

The area of the town is approximately 71.56 km2 (27.63 sq mi), and after becoming a municipality (first ever Mayor of the municipality is Adv. Mahabubar Rahman), it consists of 21 wards (after the recent greater extension). Among many notable activities, it has been hosting cricket test matches in Shaheed Chandu Stadium.

Very close to the town there is a place called Mahasthangarh which was the earliest capital city of Bangladesh, formerly known as Pundravardhana. This place is considered to be sacred by Buddhists and Hindus alike, and is visited by tourists from all over Bangladesh throughout the year. 1971 War Hero, Sector Commander, Head of the "Z-Force", Former President of Bangladesh, Maj. Gen. Ziaur Rahman.

Jatrabari - Gulistan Mayor Hanif Flyover | Part 2

Hello Viewers,

This is the 2nd part of the collection of pics about the Longest Flyover in the country, Gulistan - Jatrabari Mayor Hanif Flyover which is under construction. After completion the construction of this project, it will help the peoples live around it areas. It seems that the traffic jam in these areas will be a little tolerable! The congestion will be lower.

Anyway, hope we all get lots of benefits from the Mayor Hanif Flyover. Below are some pics of ongoing constructions:

DHK - CTG Highway Widening & Straightening | Part 1

Hello Viewers / Readers,

Most of the Images in this post has taken in last two days from running Buses. The journey was from Dhaka to Comilla and Comilla to Dhaka, so all the pics uploaded here in this post, are between the National DHK-CTG Highway portion of Dhaka to Comilla.

At present, the widening process of the highway is ongoing from Daudkani, Comilla to Chittagong. Captions are used in some of the images to introduce you the exact location of widening. After completing the Widening and Straightening process of the Highway, the National Dhaka - Chittagong Highway will be a very beautiful roadway in Bangladesh.

The distance will shorter and the journey will be time consuming during travel across all the areas around this National Highway.

These shots has taken within the last four or five days, I took lots of shots from various places to find a better Skyline Image for the Motijheel area. All the Highrises in this post are 10+ (ten) storied or may be between ten to twenty story, only a few could be ten or within ten stories.

At present the tallest skyscraper of Dhaka city or even in Bangladesh, is in Motijheel. It is a 37 storied highrise/skyscraper. I am going to share with you some Pics of high rises above 20 storied in my next posts.
