Development Projects || Coxs Bazar is Changing Rapidly

 

Cox's Bazar, the most beautiful and attractive district and tourist place in Bangladesh which has lagged behind in infrastructure development since the post-independence period, is changing rapidly! With the special vision of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Cox's Bazar is rapidly developing by 77 development projects including 25 mega projects.

Through these projects, Cox's Bazar is showing a new dream of becoming an economic zone of the country. Cox's Bazar will be a developed and prosperous tourist city if these fast moving projects are implemented. Special measures have been taken to transfer compensation checks for land acquisition in these development projects.

According to the district administration, the present government is giving more priority to the development of the district, which has lagged behind in post-independence infrastructural development. With the special vision of the Prime Minister, Cox's Bazar has been chosen as a field for development. Since the formation of the present Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in late 2008, Cox's Bazar has seen a steady development.

Through these projects, Cox's Bazar is showing a new dream to become an economic zone area of the country. 77 development projects including 25 mega projects have been taken up in Cox's Bazar district. More than Tk 3 lac crore is being invested in these projects. About 14,000 acres of land have been acquired in these projects.

Seventy Seven development projects are underway in the district, including the Prime Minister's priority project. Compensation checks are being issued to the land owners of these development projects with utmost transparency. Following this, the development projects being acquired in the district have been made more people-oriented, transparent, free from corruption and harassment.

Cox's Bazar will be developed as an economic and special tourist zone of the country through these ongoing development projects. If these fast moving projects are implemented, the city will be a developed and prosperous tourist city - this is the dream of the people of Cox's Bazar.
